Book Review : Trouble Tuesdays

Book Review:

The title of this book that is being reviewed is 'Trouble on Tuesdays, another secret diary by Sara Swan' written by Margaret Clark.

The main plot within this book is that Sara Swan's Dad is going through a mid-life crisis and leaves home on a Tuesday. Sara also discovers that Tuesdays are bad-luck days for her in more ways than one. So overall she begins to write a dairy on Tuesdays, mainly about Tuesdays! although she does include snippets of other important stuff that occurs during the week! Basically the book is about the life of a young girl having to experience the ups and downs of teenage years.

I loved this book because I read it when i was in year 7 which is where all the drama begins of growing up into a mature teenager. This book talked about friend issues, romance and family struggles which is something that I had to go through and it was nice to know that i can relate to the issues that are being discussed within the book for example when Sara's Dad goes through a mid-life crisis I was able to relate to that.

There wasn't anything i really disliked about the book because i was able to relate to everything in it. There were no stages when reading the book that became boring or made me not want to read it.

I would definitely recommend this book to young teenage girls of the ages of 12 as it is a great book discussing issues that they would be going through. It's also a great book because it's a series of 3 so if you loved this one you would love the other 2!
