The purpose of this Uncle Toby's advertisement is to promote their Australian wholegrain of goodness Muesli Bar which are delicious, as i always have one in my lunchbox.

Within the Ad it definitely grabs my attention as it has sophisticated vibrant colours, such as bright reds, and greens, which work together, an eye catching heading stating that "Kids will love a lunchbox packed with Australian wholegrain" and it has a very interesting layout and background design.

This Ad involves interest as it has attractive images that fit the consumer's world which are kids. The picture of the school boy, watching his mum put the muesli bar in his lunchbox, with a huge smile on his face indicates that he enjoys these muesli bars and cannot wait to eat it.
It has an effective close-up of the muesli bar so you can see that the packet of the muesli bar says "Chewy" allowing this treat to be easy on younger kids teeth. The Ad also uses quite emotive language underneath the image which explains how these muesli bars are a delicious healthy , high in wholegrain treat for kids.

The main feature of the Ad that would attract kids though is the image of the school boy and the muesli bar which is placed right in the middle of the Ad which is very effective because kids rather look than read an Ad. I know i would much rather look at the image of the Ad then read the text description. The Ad won me over before i read the text description and as i am an active teenager i love these little treats after my swim training.
Overall you can tell straight away that the target audience is kids and teenagers.

This Ad promotes a good healthy treat for kids as you can see this through the Ad with the picture of the Muesli bar and you can also read how healthy the bar is in the description of it at the bottom of the page, which will convince Mum's they are a healthy snack for your growing kids.
